I love it when authors heavily researched a specific topic and they’re like “and now YOU will be learning about 18th century weaponry”

I also feel like we have very similar writing styles, which is interesting

Very sensory - love the earlier emphasis on the way the hearth and smoke smells around the farm; every time I smell wood smoke I go back in time, so it’s cool we have that connection.
