Status Updates From Insomnia

Deeply engrossing and steadily building in suspense, I find myself feeling the journey of the character acutely and wishing good things for him. With each passing chapter, the story grows from meandering a bit to focusing more on King’s main goal, and I am becoming fascinated.

Made some good progress on this while I drank an iced chai latte at Between Rounds in Manchester. I’d never been there before, but it was an alright drink and a pretty good couch to sit at and do my reading. I’m really starting to connect with the main character, Ralph. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Had to look up the word iniquitous, which means “grossly unfair and morally wrong.”
