Status Updates From Villette

I would like to thank Emerald Fennel for that terrible adaptation, for it has prompted me to pick up a Brontë novel I had been meaning to for months, just to cleanse my brain.

This is a tough one, kind of a slog to get through right now. But I carry on

I’m at the point with this book where I’m not enjoying it but don’t want to quit and restart a whole new one 😭😭 but I might have to. Just not feeling it or getting into these characters or this story
