Okay, now on top of making young people look stupid, he just made Tea Partiers look reasonable. No way in fuck are my students reading more than half of this shitty book.

This book is full of bullshit. The section on the so-called lazy Millenials made me want to stab Phillips in the face.

This book needed better editing. I've already caught 3 egregious errors (first 2 in the first 10 pages), and the one on page 69 is so bad I don't know what the sentence is trying to say. And this is published by NORTON. I was expecting some crappy press, but no. One of the most respected academic presses apparently can't make sure their books aren't riddled with typos.

It's depressing how dry this is. This guy is not a very engaging writer, and my students are going to struggle with this book.
