Stephen just made a marker for his dead fathers grave so that it would be identified if he were to ever come back.

I really liked the Eleventh Plague but I thought the ending was kind of upsetting. Through out the book they talk about fort leonard (another coloney) and how they were enemeys and and they should atack now while they had the chance, but in the end fort leonard helped them.

Another thing that interested me in the eleventh plague is that the auther was willing to kill off the main caritures father.

There has been some interesting things happening so far and I'm only on page 17. So to start off the book someone is already dead, the grandpa. As they were burying him they were thinking about the memories that had with him. They traveled a litt;e ways and when they finally stopped they had something to eat, at least Stephen, the son, did. His dad didn't want to, instead be peered into the distance.

This book is about a boy and his father surviving in a post-apocalyptic ravaged by a virus and raiders. There was a war where they used viruses to kill of the enemy countries and it resulted in a collapse of the entire United States. This book is action packed and very entertaining.

The chapter I read today was mostly about Stephen getting into a fight and how the town wanted to vote to kick him out.

In my book there are many tragedies. The main character, Stephen, his father is killed when he breaks his skull and falls into a coma. He also pulled a prank on the town bully, but that ended into a bloody war. In my book some kids got trapped in a burning school building and some of them did not make it. A big thing I have to consider is how the people of the town going to live after this war, there is no food.

The author Jeff Hirsch in my book tells the story in three parts. The parts have different settings each time and reveal different feelings about each character. His three parts go from sadness to hope to suspense. The parts are told from the main characters point of view and how he experiences the world. P. 57 is were the book transitions from part one to two and that helps see how the story is told.

The theme of this book is disaster. A boy and his father have survived a horrible plague and are trying to survive in the new world The theme is centrally based off of how disasters shape a nation and its people. The theme is strong and carries its main plot throughout the whole story. It is a unique theme that many authors don't tend to use that much but I feel there should be more books like this one.

i'm going to stop reading this book because i found the 3rd book of the monument 14 series. and this book is kinda boring so far. I feel like i didn't get enough background about what had happened to the world. I also feel like the author could have wrote more about what the son and father where doing and why they didn't stay in one place.

I can't believe i have finished this book. Its been pretty violent but, whenever you read it, your like in the book basically experiencing the events in 1st person. I wish that they had more books like this.

This is was a great book kind of slow at the begging but soon jumped into action, it's a very good book for people who like apocalyptic books as this one is post apocalypse, talking about a plague that killed many people, a few kids survivng it one known as Stephen e recently burried his grandpa and now his dad is sick what will happen to his dad I can't tell you, but what I can tell you is this book is great!

While reading this book and many others that I've read my reading habits have been pretty good. When I am reading my book I am usually reading on my couch or in my bed. My reading is mostly right after school or at night before I go to bed. I consistently read about 3 chapter every night or more, and I love the books I read.
