Status Updates From The Eleventh Plague

Amazing

It’s like the earth is ending. and this guy is trying to figure out why the world is ending.

I was very surprised with how to book went with the story, I wasn’t expecting all of that too happen.

Propaganda is used to control the citizens of society. Citizens how fear of the outside world. The natural world is destroyed.

The founders want everything of value, since there isn’t many people left they want to get everyone and take what they have worth of value.

the villain would be the people that are trying to find the kid and his dad, they people want to take what they have because they could have something useful.

If I was the character I would be sad, upset, and feel depressed.

I love the main characters because it’s just about the boy and his dad as they venture on and it is relatable to when me and my dad go fishing and hunting... Also the book has very good imagery.

very interesting so far, a lot of description to really help picture what is going on in the story.

Stephen the main character was born after a tragic war and her life consists of scavenging. Most of the populations is dead from a vicious out break an there is only a few left. Stephen sticks close to his Dad and seems quite and calm.

Stephen has really gotten used to the place he has been living. He is making friends and going to school. He got detention for getting in a food fight and now does not like this girl because of it. He is still trying to do everything he can to stay in the area with his dad still in a coma.

How the hell do you turn the page

Stephen think that he found people that he can trust, His father is sadly still in a coma and violet think he will die but doesn’t want Stephen to know. Stephen is going to school and making friends because he got a home run in a baseball game.

They hijack a gangs car and drive into a river flood and they both passed out. Stephen (the son) woke up and the dad was unconscious and they found other people that tied Stephen up then took him to a hideout where they figured out that the dad was in a coma.

They are learning about the plague and sadly the grandfather died and now they have to live alone with no survival intelligence but they got together and can trust no one.

I think that the resolution is the war finishing and all the houses turned into log cabins. And the graveyard representing the people that have died. I also dont think there will be another war.

I think the war is getting intense because everythiong is starting to burn. The author shows this because he wants you to see how history can repeat itself. Also this could be considered a flashback

Jackson probaly had it worse then stephen but stephen made it all about him which isnt good. But now they both know theyve went through troubles so they respect eachother more I feel.

I think they used a flashback to show what they think could happen to the current town and what they need to prepare for. Im also wondering if they are prepared for something like that or not.

steve finally notices that the other kids had lives like him before they moved to that town. So now I think hes going to trea them differently and better because theyve been through the same shit as him.

I think the author put jenny in the story to create conflict. Some examples are when she saw steve put the medicicne in the woods. And when she got in a fight in the annual babecue. Also she doesnt go to class.

I think the author used foreshadowing when she had steven play baseball with the boys. Because It hints that later in the story he is going to probably preminently join the town and return the meicine that he has stolen.

I wonder now that he is starting to fit into the new town. If he feels anything about stealing there medicine and hiding it in the woods. Becasue if they figure out then there not going to accept him and there going to kick him and his dad out of the town.

In my reading there was an exapmle of rising action where steven was about to punch the window because he was so mad but then violet caught him and told him not to do that and theres other ways to deal with anger.

The author made jenny figure out that steve buried the meds in the woods to add suspence and wonder. Jenny is an outlier or she sticks out in the town just like steven so will she snitch or keep it between her and steven.

I think that the author wants to make stephen look so on edge because something bad is coming in the story. My prediction is that the town is going to get raided by the town up north.

I like this book a lot and I don´t want to stop reading it. The reason why I like this book is because there is a lot of action in it.

I think he theme for this section is dont make fun of someone for being different becuause you dont know what they have been through. Peolel treat stephen badly but he has gone through alot and havent grown up like the rest of the kids.

The author used irony when steven was joking around and said that he could slip and fall on hard ground. He was saying that he is clumsy especially when there is mud.

The author used descriptive langueage to show how the forest has grown over the fence and how the inside of the town is very clean and well kept but outside of the town it is rougue and overgrown and not well kept.
