What a powerful book!

This is my second reading of this. I really like it. It helps in one relationship with God.

Interesting thoughts shared in this little book. I think I'm going to take him up on his challenge that he lays out in the last chapter. Honestly, I'm not sure if I believe that this little prayer is the key to all he says it is, but I do believe in the power of any prayer. if nothing else, it should be an opportunity to rededicate to a morning prayer and devotional...

it's been years since I've read this book. my understanding and walk is a lot better now so I thought I would give it another read.

This is a powerful little book! Really take your time when reading this. Reflect on the author's experience and take time to reflect on each piece of the passage. Blessings are not necessarily materialistic, they are what God intends for you. What He wants to give you if you ask and if you are willing to receive.

Simple yet powerful book. The Prayer of Jabez has made such an impact on me. It is one of those books you continue to come back to.

Our GOd specializes in working through normal people who believe in a supernormal God who will dO His work through them.

Well worth read! It makes a great difference in my spirituality because I had tried it and used the prayer .it does make a great impact if you so have a better understanding of the dynamic of the prayer. I am using the prayer daily , well it does work miracles if you believe and enlarge your capacity to know, understand and undertake it.

Chapter 5: Keeping the Legacy Safe

beggar can't be chooser this is more about mission and challenge and discipleship. It does have some interesting passages. on a whole I found it a struggle to read.

"Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" so God granted him what he requested. (1Chronicles 4:9-10)

I'm enjoying this book so far, but it's not for everyone. If you're not religious or spiritual it may not appeal to you.

I plan to finish this book tonight..it's a quick read.
