The problem with Rule's new voice isn't actually that I don't like it or it's bad - it's that his original voice fit his image - a real charmer, warrior who preferred to fight with his smile, especially with women. This new one seems older and harder. A lupi prince people would expect - scary.

This is a bit silly but remember that test that's like... basic... not gender equality but the benchmark for something approaching... equality? And one of the three tests is: if two female characters talk with each other about something other than men? I know the book wasn't trying to pass this test but I like this converstaon took place. + I don't like guns but I like the fact said conversation was about that.

Oh my. Oh no. I feel pretty silly complaining about this but... THEY CHANGED RULE'S VOICE ACTOR!!!! Rule is... he's not Rule! What? Why? There are probably some reasonable reasons. I am not in a mindspace to hear them. They changed him! I am upset. It will take time for me to get used to the new version.
