Book 3 is harder for me to read as I can't pronounce the names gives to the numerous angels spoken throughout the chapters. Yet; I will continue until the end. I appreciate the comments given by Joseph Lumpkin. He gives clarity where needed which is beneficial to the reader.

Book 3 is referred as The Hebrew Book of Enoch by Rabbi Ishmael Ben Elisha so having a better understanding of the Hebrew language will be beneficial.
Joseph Lumpkin does an excellent job in providing notes to help the reader understand the text better. For example, in English "s" is used to denote a plural, while in Hebrew an "im" is used. Cherub is singular but many Cherubim.

I just read the introduction for 3 Enoch. This book is also referred to as the Hebrew Book of Enoch. I pray the Lord open my eyes to see, and my heart and mind to comprehend what I am to learn from 3 Enoch.

I've started 2 Enoch - Slavonic Enoch - The Book of the Secrets of Enoch.
I finished the Introduction to the Second Book of Enoch: Slavonic Enoch. I appreciate how the author explains what to expect in Book 2 of Enoch.
I anticipate my knowledge of Enoch will be greatly enhanced by what I find within the pages of Book 2.
