This is honestly so good. Very much enjoying myself!

This is bonkers, and so much more enjoyable than the original series.

I'm enjoying this a good sight more than the original books.

The audiobook, narrated by Jack Vance, is freely available as a podcast.

rec from a mate, we’ll see how this goes considering i never read the actual Harry Potter books

Page number is approximate, as my e-reader file lists 1624 pages for it (not 2184) and I am at 902, chapter 70.

Right now I am more focused in the other books (this is a long, long read), but I'll be reading at least 1 chapter every 4 or 5 days for the remainder of the month.

DNF-ing tentatively, because Harry's opponents have become too stupid to be interesting.

It was an elementary theorem of probability that if you knew what your answer would be after updating on future evidence, you ought to adopt that answer right now. If you knew your destination, you were al- ready there. And by analogy, if not quite by theorem, if you could guess what the descendants of humanity would think of something, you ought to go ahead and take that as your own best guess.

We can NEVER have enough plots!

Ką daryti kai knyga nepaleidžia? Nenoriu miegoti, nenoriu dirbti, nenoriu valgyti ir skaityti kažko kito - noriu tik skaityti šį 2000 puslapių (šešių knygų vienoje) kūrinį... Pasikeitė mano asmenybė, pasikeitė požiūris, dienas skaičiuoju skyriais... Ir noriu dar. Grįžtu prie knygos, nes atsitraukęs - prarasčiau save.

Per paskutines 5 dienas praleidau 26 valandas skaitydamas šią knygą. Noriu dar.

Veikėjai stebėtinai ne-idealūs. Smagu matyti jų pokyčius istorijoje.

Tai - kol kas geriausias mano skaitytas HP fan fiction. Džiaugiuosi, kad pradėjau skaityti.

In retrospect, Harry had given himself hours to make the most important discovery in the history of magic, and months to break through the undeveloped mental barriers of an eleven-year-old boy. This could indicate that Harry had some sort of major cognitive deficit with respect to estimating task completion times.

Not all losing is like this. There are compro- mises and negotiated surrenders. There are other ways to placate bullies. There is a whole art form to manipulating others by letting them be dominant over you. But first, losing must be thinkable.

Harry wrote down “Do not mess with time” on Paper-1 in slightly shaky handwriting, folded it neatly, and resolved not to do any more truly brilliant experiments on Time until he was at least fifteen years old.
To the best of Harry’s knowledge, that had been the scariest experimental result in the entire history of science. 😂

When Hermione pulled the door open, she was greeted by a trembling young boy who looked exactly like he knocked.

“All right, if this guy just took advantage of a natural accident to sell me twenty-
four cans of nothing, I’m going to applaud his creative entrepreneurial spirit and then kill him.” 👏👏👏

Harry opened his eyes and stumbled to a halt, feeling vaguely dirtied by having made a deliberate effort to believe something. 🤣

The first of i imagine five or six rereads before the end of my life. Packed with relevant, useful concepts.
