"Harry didn't believe in angst, he couldn't stand reading about whiny heroes..." Clearly he's not read book 5.

"It is entirely possible that in a thousand years, the fact that Hermione Granger's parents were dentists will be the only reason anyone remembers dentistry!"

I'm 100% done with what has been released, but there is still more to be released.

This is turning out to be a seriously good read. Superior to the original books, in some ways.

I'm now caught up on all current updates... and so sad. I want to start rereading it now - maybe there'll be another chapter by that time. Best fan-fiction of all time?

I'm glad that whole Dragon/Sunshine/Chaos thing is over. It was confusing and annoying.

I am loving the intertextuality. Neville Longbottom screams “Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne! Ia! Shub-Niggurath! The enemy’s gate is sideways!” Later, Harry’s rousing speech to his army includes “My hovercraft is full of eels!”

Hermione: Can I call you Drakey?
Draco: Of course, if I can call you Hermy.

Its not a funny book. or I haven't seen the humor yet. Then again I'm not reading it because its funny. I'm reading it because its a different take on my favorite Novel with a spice. The spice is Science! The Scientific Method And rationality to be exact. In this sense its wonderful! I've learned about 3 Fallacies already. Go Harry! Teach these Witches and Wizards about a silly little stuff called Science. Preach.

Pet peeve: when a story is told out of chronological order for no reason.

The summary of what's happened so far at the end of this chapter was helpful.

This version of Harry witnesses Hogwarts and magical Britain as an ordinary person might (quirks which a reader finds charming would actually drive us insane in reality).

Love, love, love it all. Especially Harry's interactions with McGonagall and Hermione.

The Scientific Method, according to (this) Hermione:
Step 1: Form a hypothesis.
Step 2: Do an experiment to test your hypothesis.
Step 3: Measure the results.
Step 4: Make a cardboard poster.

Chapter 2 fills the McGonagall-shaped hole that was left in my soul after I finished the series.

Really good so far totally agree that petunia Dursley wouldn't have stayed with Vernon and you get more of professor mcgonagall's personality
