When people say this is funny, are they meaning it's funny how terribly written it is? Because I can definitely see where Yudkowsky is trying to be funny, but he fails so heinously at it that that's the closest thing to "funny" I have found within this so far.

This book is so bananas. At least the dialogue is *mildly* more believable, but the characterizations and plotting are just so badly done! I love that he has a temper tantrum in chapter 18 because he doesn't know the answer to some questions and claims abuse, yet then in chapter 19 he's totally cool with a teacher ordering students to give him a beat down. Yup, that's TOTALLY rational behaviour. *eyeroll*

Well, at least there wasn't more 11 year olds joking about rape. This book is so incredibly pretentious. Also, the quarks are up, down, strange, charm, top, and bottom. Truth and Beauty aren't widely accepted, having lost favour to top and bottom. Get your facts straight, dude.
