message 1: by Chad (new)

Chad Kohalyk Each year I usually go for 40 or 50 books. Last year I really felt the pressure. So I think I am going to take a step back. Plus, I would like to tackle more LONGER books (I have a ton of Murakami Haruki queued up!) which always ruin my numbers.

Chad Kohalyk Welp, I hit it already. With Coronavirus I ended up reading a LOT more... I probably devoured too much as a coping mechanism. But things are settled down now, and I will take more time with each book. Plus I am digging more into research, so I am forced to. I have to say, I read some REALLY lovely books so far this year. Take a look at the list if you are looking for something.
