Ilana's Bio:

Ilana is an author and blogger whose work explores resilience, healing, and self-discovery through lived experience.

A decade later, further testing revealed she is also autistic – two life-changing realisations that allowed her to better understand herself and step into her full identity.

Ilana is the author of three books: Cerebral Palsy: A Story – Finding the Calm After the Storm, Spirituality, Healing, and Me, and Survival: The Covid Years – Time for Change. He

In 14 years and never having missed writing a blog, I continue to write, and to add to my daily blog. Where my 'healthy lifestyle' blog helps me with my mental health. I hope it helps others too. A late diagnosis at 46 brings clarity, self-understanding, and a new perspective on the past

I stagnated for most of my early years. It wasn’t failure. It was awareness, understanding, observing, and waiting to be heard. It didn’t look like progress, and for a long time it was me standing still, but it served a purpose.

It protected my mental health, and in many ways, it protected me and Read more of this blog post »

“The CP Diary – Every day I learn a little more about myself – not by what I overcome, but by who I become in the process. Cerebral Palsy is part of my story, but it is not my definition. I live, I grow, and I write – because my voice matters.”
