I've been going through all of Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices books. I love the world of Shadowhunters and how one series ties beautifully into another through the generations and lore.

I enjoy putting words together into sentences which made paragraphs, forming chapters and, ultimately, a story. I won’t lie and say I love meeting my characters like some writers might say, because I work hard to shape them over the years and they don’t come to me fully-formed.

What I really enjoy now, after 15 years of writing, is how dynamic the process is. If I want to write, I will. If I don’t won’t. As a self-published author, I have all the control over the whole creative process, from the story I want to tell to how I want my book formatted on Amazon. Writing is somehting I can come back to no matter how long has passed and no day is ever the same.
