“Loving someone isn’t about fairy tales or control. None of us walk through the world unwounded. Love is simply giving someone a safe space to grow and heal, and that’s how we have to love ourselves as well.”
James Avery Fuchs, Gasoline and Winter

“Power belongs in the hands of love, not memories.”
James Avery Fuchs, Gasoline and Winter

“I have wandered many roads that I have never traveled; touched many things that my eyes have never seen. It is through stories that life is made, and through stories that life is saved.”
James Avery Fuchs, Gasoline and Winter

“Knowing someone isn't coming back
doesn't mean you ever stop waiting”
Toby Barlow

from a man if
he keeps his chin up
and his teeth clean.”

“The bullet we're running from is almost never the one that hits us.”

“And were you cornered by her,
eye to eye,
you would see that
there are still some watchful creatures
whose essence lies unbound by words.
There is still a wilderness.”
Toby Barlow, Sharp Teeth
