Sharing time and experience with animals makes humans more honest, more real. Looking into an animal's or pet's eyes allows us a mirror into ourselves. We all become more honest, truthful, trustworthy because of our associations with our animal friends. They define us. I have written books for adults and young adults about the human/animal bond and how our pets complement us as humans. At once funny and thought-provoking, readers will return for more of my tales of tails to escape the real world and participate in the unusual world of veterinary medicine about which I write with warmth, humor, and an appreciation of the earth and her creatures.
