I'm a writer who practices law or a lawyer who writes. Whichever way you look at it, I've been writing for numerous years with a list of varied credits from a comic book story to church newsletter articles to hockey articles.

My most recent publications include my first novel, "The Y in Life." I also have two short stories in Grey Wolfe Publishing's literary journal, Legends Summer 2013, and two short stories and an essay are to be published in the Autumn 2013 edition. Two short stories and a personal essay can be found in the “Written in the Mitten” anthology, published February, 2013 by Heron Bay Books.

I won the 2009 Michigan Bar Journal Short Story Contest, and was a Finalist in the 2011 Michigan Bar Journal Short Story Contest.
