Davide Stefanacci is an art historian, author, and collector of Old Master paintings.

Over the years, he has been responsible for the curatorial development of Michael Lloyd: Lyricism in Silver, hosted by the Goldsmiths’ Company in London; authored The Vision of Death: Wax Sculpture in the Seventeenth Century; coauthored and contributed research to a scholarly catalogue produced by the Frick Collection titled The Scher Collection of Commemorative Medals; and lectured at the Renaissance Society of America conference in New Orleans and at the College Art Association conference in New York on topics spanning from the appreciation of contemporary art at the time of Guercino to religious iconography and the female gender in the late Trecento, Ita ...more
