Jameson Parker was a working actor for over a quarter of a century. While he has appeared in countless movies, television movies, and plays, he is best known for his role as A.J., one half of the team of "Simon & Simon," the long running hit television series in the '80s.

Jameson has been a freelance writer for the past twenty years. As an actor-turned-author he is unique, because his work has appeared in such a wide range of outdoor magazines, including Gray's Sporting Journal, Sports Afield, Western Horseman, Ranch & Reata, Ducks Unlimited, and many others. The answer is Romeo and Juliet, but the caveat is ONLY when it is done correctly on stage, or if you read it with a good performance in your imagination, or--better yet--a good memory of what you were like as a teenager. I have seen so many ponderous, poetic performances that have all the passion and romance and urgency of an actuarial table (and that includes one by the Royal Shakespearean Company) that it makes you wonder if those actors and those directors had any memory of what it was like to be in love as teenager. The single best film of Romeo and Juliet (and one of the finest productions of all time) is Zeffirelli's movie. If you've never seen it, rent it; you have a treat in store.
The other caveat is an addition: Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig from "A Christmas Carol." I love their happiness and comfortableness with everybody, their joy in each other's company, and above all their essential kindness.
I know that as soon as I post this, half a dozen more will come to mind, but the fact that these two danced out first gives them priority.
