Hello and welcome to my author page. My real name is Leigh Turner, but from 2014-2021, when I was British Consul-General in Istanbul and British Ambassador to Austria, I wrote under the pen-name Robert Pimm.

My top priority is my new Istanbul thriller, "Palladium", to be published by Immortal Works press in May 2022. I am working on a lighthearted handbook, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to Diplomacy", to be published in autumn 2022 or spring 2023.

(iii) have a routine;
(iv) don't keep editing as you go along;
(v) if you're stuck, consider the Stephen King method of writing (i.e. basically just start without a plan).
