I can't tell you how often I find things once I stop looking for them and move on to something else. If I'm struggling when writing, I stop. Sometimes I move on to a different project or I write a journal entry or just go do something different altogether. Many times coming up with ideas for unrelated stories inspires new ideas for what I'm stuck on.(less)

I also use music to help me get into the minds of my characters. If I can link them to a genre, or band, it helps me decide how they might think.(less)

I Should Be Writing
