Teneisha R.S. Jones has written poetry for most of her life but started writing for children after becoming a mother.

She was educated in the Arts at Massachusetts College of Art & Design. In her spare time she also likes to create plush monsters, puppets, watercolor and block printing. She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, two daughters, two loud cats, and an incredibly lazy Chihuahua..
