Ryan Romero grew up in Orange County with just as much angst as the characters in his books. He received his B.S. in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and M.A. in Education from Stanford University. He works as an educator by day and a writer by night, and he enjoys hiking, traveling, and baking. Having lived all across California, he now lives in San Diego.
