Mark Tursi is the author of Shiftless Days (Noemi Press) and The Impossible Picnic (BlazeVOX Books). He is one of the founding editors of the literary journal, Double Room, as well as APOSTROPHE BOOKS, an innovative press devoted to publishing poetry that intersects philosophy and cultural theory. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Denver and his MFA from Colorado State University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of English at New Jersey City University.
