K.L. Emanuelson fell in love with Westerns while watching all the old shows and movies with her beloved Gramps. After she got out of the U.S. Army, she was a working cowgirl, horse trainer and riding instructor, both in her home state of Wisconsin and in Colorado.

Influences are the late authors, Dorothy M. Johnson and Lewis B. Patten. Contemporary authors of American frontier fiction that she enjoys are Karen Wills and Ralph Cotton.

She shares her ranch with her horses, dogs, cats and amazing wildlife.

Could have been a great book, but bias ruined it for me. This is the Affirmative Action/DEI of authors here. MMIW is such an important issue, but evidently it was more important for the author to depict white people as horrible. All 3 white women in ...more
