He didn’t like the numbers he was seeing, and a discreet glance to his right told him that his pilot didn’t like them either. “A little fast, Lynn?” he asked. She responded with only a nod, her concentration focused on the task at hand. Jack turned his head slightly toward the rear of the flight deck, as if to speak to his engineer.
