I live in Indiana but grew up on the dusty roads in Arkansas. I have been married for thirty-six years and have four children, two girls and two boys. There wasn't much to do in the 50's and 60's in the south, so I daydreamed a lot. My first venture into writing was a soulful piece on the breakup of my very first boyfriend. (I was thirteen) It was very sad. Since then, I write Mystery and Suspense. After a while, when you write a series, you come to think of the people in your books as friends. I once tried to kill off a character in No Harm Done but couldn't do it. She was too sweet. I always write with my dogs in my office...they remind me to stretch my legs and theirs.
