Our past is just a trigger to our disorder. Take me and my bipolar, for example. Whenever I see a certain person who I now loathe due to attitudinal problems, an unwanted flood of past wrongs, followed by a desire to murder, sweep-crashes over me. That shit lasts a short while, way shorter than it once did in my late teens, post-highschool. Trust me, the past will do that to any and everyone.
