NaNoWhatNow?

“Nate, I was wondering. What are you going to write during NaNoWriMo this year?”

Boy, am I glad you asked! I just happen to be psyching myself up for it right now, it’s like you’re reading my mind. This year, I’m going to write about—

“Hold on. Maybe you should tell everyone what NaNoWriMo is, first.”

Oh, yeah. Sorry.

So NaNoWriMo is a contest you can take part in. It stands for National Novel Writ Read more of this blog post »

"The thing I remember best about successful people I’ve met all through the years is their obvious delight in what they’re doing and it seems to have very little to do with worldly success. They just love what they’re doing and they love it in front o" Read more of this review »
The Invention of Yesterday by Tamim Ansary
"If you think history is a cold recitation of dates and the names of kings and battles, you owe it to yourself to check out Big History. And the best introduction I’ve found to that fascinating new field is Tamim Ansary‘s brilliant 50,000-year survey," Read more of this review »

“It was bad enough I was a detective without a fedora. But now I was a jungle adventurer without a fedora. This was unacceptable.”
Nate Streeper, The Big Cryosleep

“In reality, only we can give purpose to our own lives. But so many of us are looking for purpose through someone else, that one, magic person who can make everything okay. Unfortunately for the redhead, the tycoon was that one person. But to the tycoon, she was number twenty-six.”
Nate Streeper, Murder on the Orion Express

“I hardly knew the guy. We’re all the center of our own universes, and hell, he arrived a little late in mine. But it only took a moment to realize he was the real deal.”

khrome Hey are you going to get a story published?? I think you should! If you are not going to do it the oldschool way, you might want to try lulu.com and go the self-publishing route. I just got a book printed by them and it's good quality. My co-worker got a children's book published by Xlibris but I wouldn't recommend them. Too much overhead fees.
