Hi, I'm Gregory P. Smith, author of Seeking Courage and longtime history buff. Despite holding a BComm in Marketing and an MBA in Finance, my true passion is telling stories. In fact, I typically found myself unconsciously weaving anecdotes into my finance presentations to eagerly attentive corporate and institutional clients. I learned early on that everyone loves stories, even from behind tightly knotted ties, button down collars and serious corporate expressions.
My wanderlust has taken me to dozens of countries on six of the seven continents, and my appetite to consume history has led me down many paths of adventure.

While the history was infromative, the detail was unnecessarily violent. It is understood that the era in Morocco was of tribal warfare, but the violent detail in this story was a distraction.
