This latter idea came to me when I visited the ruins of the house where my great grandmother (the author of a notebook of family stories) lived in Ireland.(less)

New Book on Chief Seatlh

I received an email today from David Buerge telling me that his biography on Chief Seattle is basically finished and will be published by Sasquatch. I first heard David give a lecture on Coast Salish culture in the early 1980s in Seattle, and not that long ago another one, specifically about Chief Seattle.
