Barbara is a retired registered nurse, graduated from Borgess School of Nursing in Kalamazoo, MI. She and her husband Terry, have been married 53 years, and have four adult children, who have given them 6 wonderful granddaughters. After raising a family, she returned to college at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she earned a BA in English Literature, a minor in Religious Studies and a certificate in GLBT studies. Writing a work of fiction has always been on her "bucket list" and with the encouragement of her husband and oldest son, she is happy and proud to offer three books to the public. She hopes that teens and young adults will enjoy her works of fiction. She now resides with her husband on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. ...more
