"We all float down here!"-It. This is just on of the horrifying quotes in the book It. It is a horror book that I would recommend to anyone is likes horror books, can read a long story that has meaning, and is mature enough. I would highly recommend "We all float down here!"-It. This is just on of the horrifying quotes in the book It. It is a horror book that I would recommend to anyone is likes horror books, can read a long story that has meaning, and is mature enough. I would highly recommend this book.
I would highly recommend this book to people who like horror books or horror movies. This is because this book is based on a clown that eats children in a place called Derry, Maine. That alone is pretty horrifying. One scary quote from the book is, "They float,' it growled, 'they float, Georgie, and when you’re down here with me, you’ll float, too–'" This quote is scary because it is Penny wise the clown in a sewer talking to little kid trying to get him to grab his boat right before disaster happens. Another scary quote in the book is, "I am eternal. I am the Eater of Worlds." This quote is from It, it is scary because It is a monster that kids are fighting, so hearing a monster say this to them is horrifying. In conclusion, It is a book for people who enjoy horror books and horror movies.
Another reason that I would recommend this book is because it is a long book. Books that are long usually have more meaning and a better story because there are more pages explaining the story. I would recommend this book if your are capable of reading 1100+ pages because that is how long the book is. One quote from the book that shows it has meaning is “Maybe there aren't any such things as good friends or bad friends - maybe there are just friends, people who stand by you when you're hurt and who help you feel not so lonely. No good friends. No bad friends. Only people you want, need to be with; people who build their houses in your heart.” This quote has much meaning towards the book and life. First, it has meaning in the book because the group of friends fighting It have ups and downs. So, this quote talks about the thought that the friends might have gone through. Also this quote works for real life because it helps you learn more what a "friend" means. In conclusion, I would recommend It to people who like reading long books with meaning.
Lastly, I would recommend this book to people who are mature enough for this book. I cannot give examples in the book because it is not school appropriate. Some reasons that it is inappropriate is because it cusses almost every page which you have to be mature enough to read this book and know what is right and wrong. This book also says racist things that are not okay to use against people. You would also have to be mature enough because you would need to know not to say these terrible thing s that the boom says. Lastly, you have to be mature to read this book because it describes gore(which I can also not give an example of because it's not school appropriate). The book describes injuries and accidents very in depth that you have to be mature enough to read this book. In conclusion, you have to be mature enough to read this book because you need to know what is right and wrong to say about this book.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who falls under any or all of these categories. This is one of my favorite books of all time due to how scary and how in depth it goes....more
