"Interesting and fast paced but overly wordy. It’s taken over a hundred pages for her to talk to three different people all of whom have kicked her ass first." Jan 09, 2018 10:21AM

Cut You Down by Sam Wiebe
"Sam Weibe's knight errant Dave Wakeland is at it again. Fighting unseen battles that he can't explain. Every mystery he pursues leads him to more questions about the man he is. Powerful P.I. fiction that will enrich any reader"
The Punisher by Garth Ennis
"

This continues Garth Ennis's famous run on The Punisher, and saying he stepped his game up in this one is an understatement. I enjoyed the three story arcs in the first collection but this volume seems like it could've even been written by a diffe..." Read more of this review »

Edward and 6 other people liked Josh's review of Driven:
Driven by James Sallis
"DRIVEN, the sequel to the highly entertaining DRIVE starts with a bang as Driver's partner is brutally gunned down and Driver himself attacked by a couple of hired thugs. That sort of blistering opening really set the scene for what should have be..." Read more of this review »
Edward and 10 other people liked Steve Lowe's review of Driven (Drive, #2):
Driven by James Sallis
"Can a sequel be better than the first book? In this case, I think so, though there's more to it. This might take a minute to make my point, but follow me here.

This is the sequel to novel DRIVE, which was made into a movie starring Ryan Gosling. (..." Read more of this review »

Chuck Palahniuk
“The unreal is more powerful than the real. Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That's the only lasting thing you can create.”
