I recently discovered that the 'dirty' romance books I read as a teenager are a whole lot dirtier these days, and I have to say, I'm a big fan! I always said I wanted to be a writer when I grew up, but it wasn't until I read my first spanking romance book that I finally did something about it! I started writing stories, making them up as I typed and I was hooked from that point on. It is so much fun to just type whatever pops into your head; the characters form right before your eyes and you have no idea where it will end up. Hell, I don't even know where it will start until I sit down and start typing!

I stay true to my trashy novel days where there was always a strong alpha male and an errant female, preferably in a barn or on a ranch. But in the modern day romances she gets spanked by the big hunky cowboy, just as it should be. It's really just the evolution of the vanilla books that my Mom read and passed down to me. You take vanilla, add some spice and turn up the heat, and Voila! You get Erotica.

The one constant I have found is that my stories always start in the great outdoors, so I guess that is my inspiration. Whether its in the woods, on a ranch, or at the beach, my stories come alive there.

In the last year I have been on a roll and have written six books, and have about another five still rolling around in my head trying to find their way out. Until I have the time to write them I will continue to let them sizzle and toss and turn until they are ripe and dripping with desire. Only then will I unleash them to my readers.
