Jasmijn Funk (2002) groeide op in Middelburg en studeert communicatie in haar geliefde studentenstad Tilburg. Naast dat ze graag met haar hoofd in de boeken zit, werkt ze in een bibliotheek en krijgt ze tijdens het schrijven altijd steun van haar katten Milou en Moos.

Met haar debuutroman Het Schimmencafé verwezenlijkt ze haar droom om een boek te schrijven.
