Hey! I'm Evelyn. I'm a freelance copy editor and proofreader based on the south coast of the UK. I work exclusively in the romance genre and have over eight years of experience.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, ultra running, Roman archaeology, and fantasy video games. I'm absolutely a cat person, and on a typical evening you'll find me curled up on the sofa, cat on lap, reading a romance novel with a glass of wine to hand.

I'm happy to work on any romance novel from light/clean to dark/explicit, all the way up to 5/5 on the spice scale, 5/5 on the dark scale, and 5/5 on the dark spice scale (IYKYK). I'm kink-friendly, have no triggers, and I work in both US and UK English. ...more
