Derek Howe was born in Michigan. He has lived there most of his adult life. The only time away he was in the Marines. Derek served in the Marine Corps for five years as an avionics technician. He served on both coasts and even spent time overseas, a year in Iraq. Derek attended ITT after leaving the military, earning an a degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology. He currently works for a local company as an electronic technician. He is an avid reader, primary in the science fiction and fantasy genre. He loves to watch TV, and movies. He is a self-taught musician on the guitar. He loves creating worlds and bringing them to life.
