I'd give this 0 stars if I could. It as absolute trash. Terrible characters, terrible writing, one of the most boring fantasy novels I've ever read... I can't describe how horrible this book was. My ten year old niece can write better book than this. ...more

J.D. Salinger
“This fall I think you're riding for—it's a special kind of fall, a horrible kind. The man falling isn't permitted to feel or hear himself hit bottom. He just keeps falling and falling. The whole arrangement's designed for men who, at some time or other in their lives, were looking for something their own environment couldn't supply them with. Or they thought their own environment couldn't supply them with. So they gave up looking. They gave it up before they ever really even got started.”
J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

Brandon Sanderson
“Somehow, we'll find it. The balance between whom we wish to be and whom we need to be. But for now, we simply have to be satisfied with who we are.”
Brandon Sanderson, The Hero of Ages

Walt Whitman
“I have learned that to be with those I like is enough”
Walt Whitman

J.R.R. Tolkien
“I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Robin Hobb
“Home is people. Not a place. If you go back there after the people are gone, then all you can see is what is not there any more.”
Robin Hobb, Fool's Fate
