Award winning author Mindy Halleck is a Pacific Northwest writer, blogger and writing instructor. I started writing when I was a teenager, tragic, melodramatic poetry. then moved on to short short stories in my 20s, and then journaling into my 40s when I started writing short stories and viola! Novels.

However, on the rare occasion that I'm blocked I take a pen and pad of paper (old school writing) and go sit in a coffee shop. There is something about the buzz of human interaction that sparks my pen.(less)
