This book is definitely one of my favorites! I can’t think of rating it lower than five stars. It is a very different book from what I am used to reading, because this is more of a nonfiction book and you have to analyze and take your time read it. But besides all that, it is amazingly written and even if you are not into mythology I think you would feel attracted to book because of the writing.

This book relates to my hero’s journey because it is about mythology in general, and I want to write more about fantasy. I also have a great interested for mythology especial Greek, and reading this book made me understand many things about the different mythologies, their structures, and a lot of other things.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in any mythology or is studying mythology. I think this is THE BOOK for it. I have to say, it is complicated and difficult but it is definitely worth it. I would recommend reading it slowly and to take notes. I haven’t finished reading it yet because of how heavy and interest the reading is.

I have many quotes that I would like to share with you, but two of my favorite ones are “The fantasy is a reassurance -a promise that the peace of Paradise, which was known first within the mother womb, is not to be lost” -p. 59
“Only birth can conquer death - the birth, not of the old thing again, but something new”-p.11

¡Este libro es definitivamente uno de mis favoritos! No puedo imaginar clasificar este libro algo menos de cinco estrellas. Es un libro muy diferente a algo que yo acostumbro a leer porque se va más a lo no ficción y hay que analizar y tomarse el tiempo leyendo lo. Pero a pesar de todo eso, está increíblemente escrito y aunque no te guste mucho la mitología yo creo que te sentirás atraído al libro por como está escrito.

Este libro se relaciona a mi viaje de héroe porque es de mitología en general y yo quiero escribir mas de fantasía. También tengo un gran interés por la mitología, especialmente la griega y leer este libro me hizo entender muchas cosas de las diferentes mitologías, su estructura y otro montón de cosas.

Le recomendaría este libro a cualquier persona interesada en cualquier mitología o que esté estudiando mitología. Yo creo que este es EL LIBRO para eso. Tengo que decir, es complicada y difícil pero definitivamente vale la pena. Yo recomiendo que lo lean lento y tomen notas. Yo no he podido terminar de leerlo por lo intenso que es el contenido y pesado es la lectura.

Tengo muchas frases que me encantaría compartir con ustedes, pero dos de mis favoritas son: “La fantasía es una seguridad - una promesa que la paz de el Paraíso, que se conoce primero por el vientre de la madre, no debe ser perdida” - pág. 59
