I live in the small Eastern Sierra community of Crowley Lake, California located approximately fourteen miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes. It's adjacent to highway 395 which runs through all of the small towns featured in, 'The 30 Year Race'. I'm a hiker, biker, backpacker, skier, and fisherman. I have done many of the things the characters in my novels do. I'm a former resident of Los Angeles where some of the action in, 'The 30 Year Race', takes place. My wife, Gail, took the picture of two suiseki rocks and pine needle basket which play significant roles in the story.
