Chris Keating writes novels with a twist. A Navy veteran and a professor of physics, he now spends his time in the Texas Hill Country where he writes and does volunteer work in the Texas Master Naturalist program. In addition to his novels, he also writes science-based books. He conducted the $10,000 Global Warming Skeptic Challenge (which closed in 2015) where he promised to pay $10,000 to any skeptic of manmade global warming who could prove their skepticism was scientifically valid (no one could). He is actively involved in research on climate change and in debunking the anti-science lobbyists.

The Traitor by Ava Glass

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't often give five stars but I felt this one deserved it. The Traitor is a fast-paced suspense thriller but is still an easy read. I was able to sit for long stretches while reading without getting distracted by nagging house chores. Glass has constructed believable characters and put them in a plausible situation.
