“To this day, the smell of October calls up in me the dusky streets of my childhood, bicycles lying on wet leaves, jumping fences and running through yards, the darkness of my own home, sneaking out into the night, the longing to strike into something dangerous, heroic.”
Joseph A. Turkot, Neighborhood Watch

“To better myself, using my past as my teacher. It took me too long. I was blinded by ambition, my drive…I know now what matters most, and it is too late.”
Joseph A. Turkot, Black Hull
