I always found that if I had writer's block on a specific part of my book I would move on to another chapter and return to the particular bit I was stuck on later, as there's no fixed rule on what order you should write your book.
If no ideas come to me at all, I would leave it for the day, as sooner or later an idea will materialise.

My advice would be to give it a go. I only started writing last year, after coming up with the idea for my book, and although I had no clear vision of all the contents, or how I would end it, I found new ideas came to me as I continued to write. I think it's essential that you enjoy the whole process and believe in yourself. Then, once you have completed your book I would suggest showing it to friends and family, to get their opinions. For me I found this really beneficial, as I knew they'd be honest!!
