Cindy's mission is to help build brighter futures for kids through reading adventures by sparking imagination, fostering a love of discovery and learning, and instilling values of compassion and wisdom. She believes this is foundational to helping kids G.L.O.W. from the inside out.

In Matthew 5:14, Jesus says,"You are the light of the world." We can bring light and life into the lives of others in big ways and small. Even kids can Go and be the Light Of the World. Let's help our little ones grow their G.L.O.W. so they can make a huge impact on the world round them.

Cindy resides in the northern part of Indiana alongside her husband. She is a proud mother to three grown children and a doting grandmother of five grandkiddos. Cindy resides in the northern part of Indiana alongside her husband. She is a proud mother to three grown children and a doting grandmother of five grandkiddos. Embracing the journey of single motherhood, Cindy cherished moments of play and exploration with her kids. This included cozy Friday night campouts in the living room, complete with movies and pizza, as well as engaging baking sessions that left the kitchen adorned with frosting and an explosion of sprinkles. Today, Cindy finds joy in crafting book-inspired adventures and educational activities with her grandkids, continuing the legacy of creative and meaningful family interactions.

As an 8-year-old, Cindy loved books and began writing her own stories. As an adult, she pursued her goal of becoming a writer, which lead her to teaching journalism. She then transitioned into a marketing career. Throughout the years Cindy has written for kids magazines, and in 2023, she decided to begin writing for kids full time.
