Kalynn Campbell, a Los Angeles painter, illustrator, and writer is one of the early artists in the Lowbrow/pop surrealism art movement. He began showing his work in the early 1990’s at the seminal ZERO ONE GALLERY on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Campbell’s paintings and prints have been featured in over six Museum shows including the pivotal Multi City KUSTOM KULTURE show, The Colorado POP SURREALISM show and the Los Angeles 100 ARTISTS SEE SATAN show. Books and Magazines featuring his work are numerous, among them, POP SURREALISM by Kristin Anderson, WEIRDO DELUXE by Matt Dukes Jordan and KUSTOM GRAPHICS II from Korero books.
Collectors include Actor Nicholas Cage, Rocker Eric Burden, Singer Pink and Simpson’s voice man Harry Shearer. ...more
