Many decades ago I used to review world music for TOP magazine, but since then I've mostly written ads, book reviews and a book of my experiences in my bookshop.

I sometimes help people write their restaurant menus in exchange for meals!

I'm also working on a kind of memoir about my life growing up in a small village in Wales, living in London and finally sailing over to the Caribbean where I put down roots.

The Kindness of Friends

Today I received a very interesting collection of books, two big boxes full, from a GR friend who is also an indie publisher. The same friend had also flown into the island to see what his company (not books, ,another one, construction) could do and bought a book for $500 to help out.

Today I found a friend had blocked me because I am not as virulently anti-Trump as he is.
