Mike Brecon is married and lives in a village in the UK. He has worked as a language consultant and is now a freelance writer. He has had books of fiction and non-fiction published, articles placed in newspapers, monthly and quarterly journals and short stories published in literary magazines in Britain and abroad.

The owner of a multinational pharmaceutical company fears that the arrival on the market of a scientifically tested herbal medicine, shown to halt the onset of a common disease, will seriously damage his profits. He is so opposed to the new product that he sets out to destroy his competitor with extreme violence.
